Qualifications

Education & Qualification Requirements:

• Current Registered Nursing (RN) License required
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University required
• Master's Degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
• Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Registered Nursing
• Certification from a national accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) (e.g. Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, etc.)
  • Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
• Active Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license
  • Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
• Active DEA number and "X" Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine products
  • Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience and education in providing care for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Adept counseling abilities
• Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program
• Customer service oriented, professional attitude
• Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
