DescriptionKforce has a client in Carlsbad, CA that is seeking 3 Remote Senior Golang Engineers.Responsibilities:* Senior Golang Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services* Build and enhance RESTful APIs and service-based architectures* Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data structures for performance and scalability* Troubleshoot, refactor, and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability* Develop and deploy containerized applications using modern cloud-native practices* As a Senior Golang Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions* Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives* Support production environments and help resolve complex technical issuesRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience* 7+ years of backend software development experience* 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications in Go (Golang)* Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning* Experience designing and building REST APIs and distributed services* Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment* Experience working in Agile development environments and modern CI/CD practices* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles* Proficiency in one or more additional backend languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Rust, or similar* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Experience with microservices architectures* Experience with ORM frameworks and database abstraction layers* Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment technologies* Experience integrating third-party APIs and external systems* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practicesJob TypeDirect HireCompensation150000 - $170000
