The Roxy Hotel New York | New York, NY

Full-Time | On-Site | Hospitality Revenue Management

The Opportunity

The Roxy Hotel New York is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and commercially minded Revenue Manager to join its leadership team and drive the property's revenue strategy.

Located in the heart of Downtown Manhattan at the intersection of SoHo and TriBeCa , The Roxy is one of New York City's distinctive independent lifestyle hotels, combining guestrooms and suites with restaurants, bars, live entertainment, cinema, and event spaces.

This is an opportunity for a revenue professional who enjoys working in a high-energy, independent hotel environment where pricing decisions, market intelligence, distribution strategy, and commercial creativity directly impact the property's performance.

The Revenue Manager will be responsible for maximizing occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and total rooms revenue, while ensuring that the hotel's pricing and distribution strategies reflect its unique positioning within the competitive New York City market.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the hotel's daily and long-term revenue management strategy.
  • Optimize room rates, inventory, restrictions, and availability across all market segments and channels.
  • Monitor booking pace, pickup, cancellations, demand patterns, and market conditions to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and provide clear recommendations to hotel leadership.
  • Analyze performance against budget, forecast, prior year, and competitive set.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, availability, and market positioning.
  • Leverage the hotel's RMS and other technology platforms to optimize pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Manage distribution strategy across Brand.com, OTAs, GDS, CRS, and other channels.
  • Partner with Sales to evaluate group opportunities, negotiated business, and displacement decisions, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and demand patterns.
  • Work closely with Marketing to align promotions, packages, and demand-generation initiatives with revenue objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue during high-demand periods, citywide events, holidays, and compression dates.
  • Develop strategies to stimulate demand during need periods without unnecessarily compromising ADR.
  • Participate in annual budgeting, long-range planning, and commercial strategy discussions.
  • Communicate revenue performance and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and operating departments.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, Finance, and Operations.

  • 2–5+ years of hotel revenue management experience.

  • New York City experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Duetto Amadeus CRS, and Opera Cloud or comparable platforms .

  • Strong understanding of group displacement and transient demand optimization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • A highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
  • The ability to make confident recommendations and decisions in a fast-moving environment.

The Right Candidate

The right person is more than a numbers analyst .

You understand how changes in market demand, events, booking windows, competitor behavior, distribution costs, group business, and customer behavior affect hotel profitability.

Experience in an independent boutique, lifestyle or luxury hotel environment is particularly valuable. The successful candidate should be comfortable challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and turning large amounts of data into clear commercial actions .
