Job Title: Capital Markets Associate (4th-6th Year)

Location: New York

Compensation: $260,000-$390,000+

Our client, an AM50 global law firm with a premier Capital Markets practice, is looking to add a talented 4th-6th year Capital Markets Associate to its New York team .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate Department and work on sophisticated public and private capital-raising transactions for major issuers, investment banks and private equity clients.

The practice handles a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including IPOs, direct listings, equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt, equity-linked securities and other complex Capital Markets matters .

What you'll do:

• Advise issuers, investment banks and private equity clients on sophisticated Capital Markets transactions
• Work on IPOs, follow-on offerings and other equity transactions
• Assist with high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
• Advise on direct listings and other innovative capital-raising transactions
• Work on equity-linked securities and other complex financing solutions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation
• Advise clients on securities laws and regulatory matters
• Work closely with partners and senior associates on high-value transactions
• Collaborate with lawyers across a global Corporate and Capital Markets practice

What they're looking for:

• 4th-6th year associate
• At least 2 years of Capital Markets experience
• Strong experience with sophisticated securities transactions
• Experience with equity and/or debt offerings
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
• New York Bar admission
